An action camera you do not have to mount, hold or think about. The camera is built into the frame of a pair of sunglasses, so the footage comes from your actual eye line rather than from a helmet mount or a chest rig sitting several inches off. What you see is what gets recorded.

That makes a real difference on a bike. There is no rig to fit before a ride, nothing to rattle loose over rough ground, and nothing to reach for when something worth filming happens. You put the glasses on and ride. Recording starts hands-free, which means your hands stay on the bars where they belong.

A 12MP photo function sits alongside video recording, so you can pull stills as well as clips without stopping or getting your phone out. Up to 2 hours of working time per charge covers a long ride, a run, a drive or a full afternoon outdoors.

The glasses double as ordinary sun protection, so they earn their place on your face even when you are not filming. Multiple lens colour options are available to match conditions and kit.

Lightweight and comfortable enough to forget you are wearing them, and discreet enough that they read as sunglasses rather than as camera equipment.

Suited to cycling, running, driving, hiking, skiing and any activity where holding a camera is not an option and a bulky mount is more trouble than the footage is worth.

How to use

1. Charge the glasses fully before first use with the supplied USB cable. A full charge gives up to 2 hours of recording.
2. Power on using the button on the frame. Exact button positions are marked in the enclosed instructions, as they vary slightly between lens versions.
3. Press once to start recording video and press again to stop. A short press captures a still photo instead.
4. Wipe the lens with a soft dry cloth before filming. Smudges and fingerprints are the single most common cause of soft or hazy footage.
5. Transfer your files by connecting the glasses to a computer with the USB cable.

Care: recharge between uses rather than storing the glasses flat for long periods, and keep them out of heavy rain or water unless your version states a waterproof rating.
