Solar Powered Outdoor Security Camera

A wireless outdoor camera that runs on sunlight. The 4800mAh battery is kept topped up by the built-in solar panel, so there is no wiring to install and no routine of bringing the camera down to recharge it.

Power management is what makes that work. When nothing is happening the camera drops into a low-power sleep mode instead of recording empty footage all day. A PIR sensor wakes it the moment someone moves in front of it, and recording starts automatically. That is the difference between a solar camera that lasts the year and one that dies every December.

Video is 1080P with 5X digital zoom, enough to pick out detail at a driveway, a gate or a front path.

Two-way audio through the ICSEE app lets you talk to a visitor or warn off someone who should not be there, from anywhere.

The IP66 rating covers rain and dust, so it is genuinely an outdoor camera rather than a sheltered-porch one.

Footage stores to cloud or to a memory card, both sold separately. Setup runs over WiFi and takes a few minutes.

How to use

1. Charge the camera fully before mounting rather than relying on the solar panel to fill it from empty.
2. Install the ICSEE app and connect the camera to your WiFi while it is still within reach.
3. Fit a memory card if you want local recording, or set up cloud storage in the app.
4. Mount it where the solar panel gets several hours of direct sun each day, and aim the PIR sensor across the path people walk rather than straight down it. Sensors detect movement across their field far more reliably than movement toward them.
5. Check the live feed before you come down off the ladder.

Care: clear leaves, dust and snow off the solar panel through the winter, and wipe the lens occasionally.
